The Big Book of Boy Stuff by Bart King is another in a growing body of books written specifically for boys. Designed to be engaging for boys with stuff they would be interested in, the book has activities, jokes and tidbits of
information to read. Unfortunately, the book may have some elements that we may not want to encourage. It is not bad or dangerous but some of the jokes are what I would consider potty humor as well as encouraging practical jokes. (Read the Full Review).

Boys certainly love them, even when the boy is in his 40s. The graphics and complexities of theses games just keep getting better as well. With the world spending over $13 billion on video and computer games each year, there is a lot of gaming going on, and a lot of that gaming is done by boys. Some interesting preliminary research suggests that video games activate the reward centers on male brains a lot more than female brains, and a large number of the games are targeted at boys. With parents expressing concern about the nature of the content of games as well as the engrossing nature of games, the logical question concerns the potential dangers and addictive nature of video games.
